Ruth Feldman, Executive Director | 617-825-0703 x 3290
As a seasoned nonprofit consultant Ruth has over 25 years experience in the private and non profit sectors and has worked with organizations domestically and internationally on social entrepreneurship endeavors, the environment, education and leadership development. Ruth brings a diverse background as a Fulbright Scholar, Peace Corps volunteer and International Study Fellow. Her training in various facilitation methodologies forms the basis of her ability to work with multi stakeholders to design, cultivate and grow their vision, whether in education or other sectors. She holds a M.P.A. from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard which she balances with her Diplome Culinaire from New England Culinary Institute.
The lean and powerful organization that is PSI could not succeed without an experienced and professional cadre of facilitators, consultants and interns such as we have on our 2009 - 2010 roster:
Sumeet Goil, Resident in Social Enterprise
Sumeet comes to PSI through a program organized by New Sector Alliance, a nonprofit whose mission is build organizational capacity today while strengthening leaders for tomorrow. During the course of his year at PSI, Sumeet is working on SNIP marketing, programming, and evaluation in addition to the Prospect Hill Academy project and organizational strategy. Sumeet joined PSI after graduating from Brown University last May with a bachelor's degree in Economics and Philosophy. He brings a strong passion for teaching and education reform to his service, and he is currently teaching a Citizens Schools apprenticeship on "Thinking Globally, Acting Locally" with other New Sector Residents.
Matthew Wilka, former PSI Education Writer & Communications Coordinator
Matthew worked with PSI 2006 - 2008 and continues to consult on a part time basis with our SNIP program. As Education Writer & Communications Coordinator, he developed PSI publications, worked with networks of educators to explore effective practices, and served as a liaison to PSI partners. Matthew holds a B.A. in English from Williams College. In fall of 2008, Matthew traveled to Ecuador as a Fulbright Fellow to research best practices in education. He is currently working with FSG, Social Impact Advisors.
