• Thanks to an Including Every Child workshop, Principal Bill Jones, of Whittier Elementary in Everett, MA, has determined to make co-planning time a priority, so that teachers and specialists can truly work together to support students.

• At Neighborhood House Charter School, the middle school history teacher collaborates with the special education teacher. They use a curriculum planning tool, developed with support from O’Hearn teachers, to make sure that all units address students’ multiple learning styles.

• Conservatory Lab Charter School adapted and adopted the O’Hearn’s Consult Meeting practice, so that specialists and classroom teachers could work together and support each other in helping students of all needs and abilities.
