Support Network for School Excellence (SNSE)
Support Network for School Excellence (SNSE) is the program that most embodies the mission of PSI. Over the course of a year, a cohort of school teams convenes in order to make positive whole school change. Working with a facilitator and PSI Associates (Peer teacher coaches from PSI Model Schools), the teams explore their school's challenge, analyze data and design and implement an action plan. The cohort develops as a network of learners and leaders as they hone their critical thinking and feedback skills in order to make an impact on the success of their school.
Teachers and principals have an opportunity to preview the PSI network of schools and practices available to them through SNSE at our annual Learning Exchange. This year's LEx took place on February 9th and was a great success with 50+ participants.
The next application for SNSE will be available in late 2008 for schools working on improvement strategies to implement during Academic Year 2009 - 2010.
